Ready for a change of scenery?
Join International Aid Trust on an adventure, a virtual tour of our work around the world! A great way to keep motivated to exercise, find out more about our life changing work and help raise much needed funds.
Starting from Monday 22nd February, you can join International Aid Trust for a Virtual Adventure! Each Thursday everyone taking part lets us know how many miles they have walked, run or cycled. These are added together to make the total distance the group has travelled that week. On Fridays we email you with the location we have reached including photos, weather, things you could do there, local cuisine etc. as well as related activities for children. When we reach a place where International Aid Trust work, we will send pictures, information and stories about our work there. We plan to have virtually visited Eastern Europe, India and West Africa (and other places in between). We plan to be back at Chorley to celebrate International Aid Trust’s 30th birthday in September!
You can join in from a donation of just £10, or you could choose to get sponsored by friends and family. Email julie@internationalaidtrust.org.uk for more details or to sign up.
We would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year

We are very thankful to God that the truck pictured below has now been unloaded in Moldova! It left us on Wed 4th November and was unloaded yesterday.
All the warm clothes, bedding, furniture, toiletries, kitchen utensils, musical instruments, and shoebox gifts will be a great blessing to very poor rural communities.
Pastor Victor sends a big thank you to everyone who has given items, prayed and helped with loading!
Whilst we are under the latest restrictions in to England, we are unable to accept any donated items until after the lockdown period.
If you have already filled shoeboxes please can you keep hold of them for the time being? We will share on our website and social media when we are able to accept shoeboxes and other items, and the procedure for dropping them off safely. As you we distribute shoeboxes all year round, so if for any reason your boxes are unable to get to us before Christmas, they will be very gratefully received in the New Year.
Thank you very much for your support.
Mednatu aged 4 attends New Hope School and Church in Sierra Leone. She broke her arm in the summer, it was put in plaster at the local hospital but when the cast was removed her arm and hand were massively infected. It was feared she would have to have her hand amputated. Our team took her to Freetown where she has received treatment including a skin graft. Mednatu and her Mum are back home now and shared with the Church yesterday all that God has done for them.
Our warehouse at Longton is not open to accept donations just yet, but we are praising God that this week we have been able to send out aid to Ukraine and Transylvania! The two trucks are full of items received earlier this year before lockdown, including over 4,500 shoebox gifts! As you may know, our teams distribute shoeboxes all year round. In these difficult financial times, these gifts will be a great blessing in very poor communities.
We will be accepting shoeboxes to send to people in need this year. If you have already filled your shoeboxes please can you keep hold of them for the time being? We will share a date we can start taking shoeboxes in and the procedure for dropping them off safely, on our website and social media, in the coming weeks. Thank you very much for your support.
