Shoebox update

Whilst we are under the latest restrictions in to  England, we are unable to accept any donated items until after the lockdown period.

If you have already filled shoeboxes please can you keep hold of them for the time being? We will share on our website and social media when we are able to accept shoeboxes and other items, and the procedure for dropping them off safely. As you we distribute shoeboxes all year round, so if for any reason your boxes are unable to get to us before Christmas, they will be very gratefully received in the New Year.

Thank you very much for your support.

Mednatu

Mum Beatrice, and Alice (Head teacher).

Mednatu aged 4 attends New Hope School and Church in Sierra Leone.  She broke her arm in the summer, it was put in plaster at the local hospital but when the cast was removed her arm and hand were massively infected.  It was feared she would have to have her hand amputated. Our team took her to Freetown where she has received treatment including a skin graft.  Mednatu and her Mum are back home now and shared with the Church yesterday all that God has done for them.

Good news – shoeboxes are on the move!

Our warehouse at Longton is not open to accept donations just yet, but we are praising God that this week we have been able to send out aid to Ukraine and Transylvania!  The two trucks are full of items received earlier this year before lockdown, including over 4,500 shoebox gifts! As you may know, our teams distribute shoeboxes all year round. In these difficult financial times, these gifts will be a great blessing in very poor communities.

We will be accepting shoeboxes to send to people in need this year. If you have already filled your shoeboxes please can you keep hold of them for the time being? We will share a date we can start taking shoeboxes in and the procedure for dropping them off safely, on our website and social media, in the coming weeks. Thank you very much for your support.
