Walk, Pray, Give for Ukraine
Saturday 24th February sadly marks two years since the invasion of Ukraine. The needs of people whose lives have been devastated by the war are ongoing and increasing as this video from Bernard’s recent visit shows: https://youtu.be/814M7ros1i8
In the last two years 55 loads of your donated aid have made the 1594 mile journey from our warehouse in Lancashire to our distribution centre in Motovylivka, Ukraine.
On Saturday 24th February will you please join us to:
Walk – we aim to walk a total of 1594 miles between everyone joining in, on the 24th and the week after that date.
You can join the group walk from our warehouse, we will be walking a 5 mile course twice, setting off about 10am, returning for lunch and a cuppa from 12noon until 1pm and then setting off for another lap about 1pm. You can walk one lap or both. If you would like to join us please email julie@internationalaidtrust.org.uk or post in the event on Facebook. Meet at The Barn, 255 Moss Lane, Hesketh Bank, Preston, PR4 6AE just before 10am or 1pm.
You can also walk wherever you like – or run, cycle or wheel – by yourself or with friends, from Saturday 24th February up to Saturday 2nd March and send the amount of miles you’ve walked by email to julie@internationalaidtrust.org.uk or post in the event on Facebook.
Pray – download prayer cards to pray at home, with your group or church or whilst walking, for all those affected by the war.

Give – donate £1 per mile you walk, get sponsored or sponsor those walking, to help us to fund the next articulated lorry full of aid. Or collect and donate aid.
Our target is to raise the cost of 1 truck of aid to Ukraine: £3,500.

The warehouse is always open Monday – Friday 10am – 4pm for donations, it will be open on Saturday 24th February from 12 noon to 3.00pm for people who aren’t able to drop off during the week.
