Our virtual shoebox scheme means that you can make a donation, and a gift box or bag full of useful and fun items will be packed and given to a person living in poverty.
You can choose the area of the world and also the age and gender of the person you would like to send a gift to.
Your donation funds a gift that is packed by our dedicated in-country teams, who share Jesus’ love and provide practical support alongside distributing gifts to people in need.
This scheme helps to support local economies in the countries where we work. In areas where we have a ‘Hands of Dorcas’ tailoring project, fabric bags or backpacks may be made by trainees to pack gifts in.
Your shoebox or bag will include items such as toiletries, clothing and accessories, stationery, toys, eating utensils, for adults a sewing kit or shaving kit. Please see individual gifts for more details.
The virtual shoebox you send will bring great joy to the person who receives it, letting them know someone cares. It could mean that a child has the supplies they need to be able to attend school. Or it could give an older person the dignity of being able to wash properly.
You can either select the continent you would like to send a gift to, or you can choose to send a virtual shoebox wherever it is most needed!
